Mekong Property is family-owned and operated, built with a strong focus on community and supporting small local businesses.
Mekong Plaza, opened in October 2008 by Mekong Property at Main Street & Dobson Road in Mesa, Arizona.
The plaza covered approximately 100,000 square feet of space.
It began with fewer than 10 businesses during its initial launch. Today, it has grown to include around 30 vendors, featuring restaurants, markets, and specialty shops.

Mekong Plaza Phase 2 Expansion is a $10 million+ expansion investment, completed in 2025, to enhance its position as a key destination in Mesa’s Asian District.
The development added 35,000 square feet of new commercial space, designed to accommodate high-quality dining, retail, and service tenants.
This milestone reflects ongoing investment in cultural, economic, and community growth across the East Valley of Arizona.
